Abstract: Embodiments relate to a storage rack for an automated warehouse storage system comprising a storage track for accessing storage space by a multi-directional load carrying shuttle; and an aisle track comprising a track crossing for accessing the storage track. The aisle track is decoupled from the storage track by a discontinuity between the track crossing and the storage track. The track crossing bends downwards towards the discontinuity for engaging a first and third tread of the multi-directional load carrying shuttle with the storage track in a continuous manner and/or wherein the storage track bends downwards towards the discontinuity for engaging the first and third tread with the storage track in a continuous manner.
