Patents Assigned to Denki Onkyo Company, Limited
  • Patent number: 4788470
Abstract: The deflection yoke apparatus has horizontal deflection coils, vertical deflection coils and a deflection core, and the horizontal deflection coils are electrically insulated from the vertical deflection coils by a coil separator. The coil separator is provided with an expanded chamber for accommodating the bend part of the horizontal deflection coil, and the first and second auxiliary magnetic field generating means is provided on the wall of the expanded chamber. The compensating current of a vertical deflection cycle is supplied to this means to compensate misconvergence.

  • Patent number: 4719391
Abstract: The convergence circuit has the bridge type rectifying circuit and the first potentiometer parallel-connected to this rectifying circuit and having the slide which is connected to the output terminal at the hot side of the rectifying circuit and moved to alternatively vary the waveform of the correction current of the output of the rectifying circuit every half cycle. On the other hand, the second potentiometer and the series circuit consisting of the resisting means and the correction coils are parallel-connected to the output terminals of the rectifying circuit, and the slide of this potentiometer is connected between the resisting means and the correction coils. The value of current flowing in the correction coil is adjusted by moving the slide and the adjustment of the second potentiometer is optimized by selecting the resistance value of the resisting means.

  • Patent number: 4636693
Abstract: A pair of horizontal deflection coils of a deflection yoke comprises a combination of two horizontal coil sections and a current regulator for regulating the horizontal deflection current which flows through the coils is connected across these two horizontal coil sections. The winding sections extending in the direction of the tube axis along the neck of the cathode-ray tube for two horizontal coil sections are formed so that the same distribution of conductor is not provided in the same guadrants which are divided by X and Y axes.

  • Patent number: 4547707
Abstract: The deflection yoke apparatus comprises the deflection yoke and the correction coil device which is fitted to the deflection yoke. The deflection yoke is provided with a pair of horizontal deflection coils and a pair of vertical deflection coils which are electrically separated from one another by the coil separator, and the deflection core made of magnetic material and is constructed so that the deflection magnetic field is generated in which the misconvergence of rasters appearing on the screen when three electron beams in the in-line arrangement are deflected is of only the horizontal component. The correction coil device comprises a pair of magnetic cores and correction coils wound around the pair of magnetic cores and shifts the both-side electron beams in the horizontal direction when the paraboloidal wave current is supplied to dynamically converge the electron beams in the full range of the screen.

  • Patent number: 4405910
Abstract: In the convergence apparatus which is mounted on a color cathode-ray tube in which three electron beams are in-line arranged, an annular core is fitted to a bobbin which is provided with 12 or 24 segments which isolate the winding sectors of coils, and two groups of 6-pole coils and two groups of 4-pole coils are wound around the winding sectors isolated by the segments. The winding sectors are arranged so that two groups of 6-pole coils are provided to generate magnetic poles at the positions of approximately 30.degree. intervals and two groups of 4-pole coils to do so at the positions of approximately 45.degree. intervals. The core wound with coils is fitted to the edges of circular through holes provided in the terminal plate by using the segments and the specified lead wires of the coils are connected to the printed wires provided on the terminal plate.

  • Patent number: 4132970
Abstract: A potentiometer includes a pair of magnetic resistance effect elements which cooperate with a permanent magnet carried by a rotary shaft. The shaft is supported for angular movement by a cylindrical holder formed of synthetic resin material and disposed in partial surrounding relationship and in contact with the shaft. The holder includes a cylindrical reinforcing member of metallic material embedded therein and having an axis which is aligned with the axis of the rotary shaft. The member affords reinforcement to and prevents a distortion during molding of the holder.

  • Patent number: 4125821
Abstract: A potentiometer which is generally similar to those potentiometers incorporating a pair of magnetic resistance effect elements and providing a linear output, but which produces a non-linear output by the choice of a particular configuration for the sensor surface of the elements and their relative arrangement. In accordance with the invention, a pair of magnetic resistance effect elements having sensor surfaces which are identical in configuration and size are mounted on the mount and are alternately exposed to the effective magnetic field as the latter rotates about the center of rotation during the rotation of the shaft. The sensor surfaces of the elements are disposed such that when a first and a second coordinate axis, orthogonal to each other, are drawn on the mount passing through the center of rotation, they are located on the opposite sides of the first coordinate axis and spaced from each other symmetrically with respect to the center of rotation.
