Abstract: Dental periscopes having mounting clips configured to couple to mobile devices are disclosed. A patient can mount the dental periscope to a mobile device by coupling the mounting clip of the periscope to the mobile device. The patient can then use the mobile device-mounted dental periscope to capture image and/or video data of one or more dental structures. The captured image/video data can be sent to a remote system to obtain a remote dental diagnosis based on the captured data. The remote diagnosis may be an automated diagnosis generated by a trained machine learning classifier.
