Abstract: A multi-purpose hand tool has a first member having opposite main surfaces and an elongated slot extending through the the main surfaces. A second member is slidably and pivotally coupled to one of the main surfaces of the first member. The second member has opposite main surfaces and a through-hole which extends through the main surfaces thereof and is generally vertically aligned with the elongated slot of the first member to define with the elongated slot a passage for receiving therethrough a marking member having a marking portion for contacting the surface of the material during a marking operation.
