Publication number: 20230208633Abstract: A method and system for secure communications includes obtaining at a first device and a chief device signals based on movement of at least one of the devices between them. Both the first device and chief device convert the signals into identical first secret keys which are then stored. The method and system next includes obtaining at a second device and a chief device signals based on movement between them of at least one of the devices. Both the second device and chief device convert the signals into identical second secret keys which are then stored. The chief device then encrypts first secret key with second secret key and transmits to the second device which decrypts it with its copy of second secret key obtaining first secret key. These communicating devices can then transmit data between them securely encrypted and decrypted with the first secret key.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 28, 2022Publication date: June 29, 2023Applicant: Munro Design & Technologies, LLCInventor: James F. Patent number: 8808065Abstract: A surface treating device includes an open lofty non-woven layer (1) and a woven layer (2). The non-woven layer and woven layer have facing sides (5, 6) which are adhered to each other. A plurality of abrasive segments (3) is adhered to the woven layer on the side (7) of the woven layer (2) which faces away from the non-woven layer (1). Thus, the abrasive segments are held in a stable manner so as to better withstand the frictional forces exerted thereon during service.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 2012Date of Patent: August 19, 2014Assignee: Design Technologies LLCInventor: James Weder

Patent number: 8727837Abstract: A rotatable disc head for a floor treatment device includes a pair of coupling members which are pivotably connected to each other according to pivot axes which are transversely oriented with respect to each other. A rotation axis is defined which is transversely oriented with respect to the pivot axes. The coupling members are furthermore connected to each other by means of at least one elastically deformable connection element. One of the coupling members includes fitting means for mounting the coupling member to the rotary drive of the floor treatment device and the other coupling member includes carrier means onto which a floor treatment element, such as a grinding disc, can be mounted. The connection of the connection elements to one of the coupling members is an adjustable connection allowing displacements which are oriented transversely with respect to the rotation axis.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 2011Date of Patent: May 20, 2014Assignee: Design Technologies LLCInventor: James Weder

Patent number: 8254665Abstract: Methods and systems for three-dimensional imaging include sampling one or more emissions which are reflected back from a target scene with one or more micro-channel plates. The one or more sampled emissions are processed in one or more frames. Within each frame a phase is extracted and a distance to the target scene and amplitude is determined on a pixel-by-pixel basis. A three dimensional image of the target scene is generated and provided based on the extracted phase and the determined distance and amplitude for the one or more frames.Type: GrantFiled: August 22, 2007Date of Patent: August 28, 2012Assignee: Munro Design & Technologies, LLCInventor: James F.
