Abstract: A video device includes a base unit; a network interface; a handheld receiver communicatively coupled to the base unit; a graphical user interface (GUI) positioned on the base unit, the GUI being configured to sense a touch of a user; and at least one processor housed in the base unit, the at least one processor configured to initiate, over the network interface, a call with at least one other participant responsive to a single touch by the user on a region of the GUI; display, on the GUI, at least one first video stream from the at least one other participant; and stream, to the handheld receiver, an audio component of the at least one first video stream from the at least one other participant.

Abstract: A speaker apparatus or system with a user selectably expandable chamber is provided. The chamber in its expanded state enhances the speaker's acoustical properties. The chamber in its collapsed (in physical dimension or shape) state provides a thin profile for increased portability or low profile mounted solutions. The speaker is compatible with current electronics.

Abstract: A pet waste containment system, or litter box, that is easily accessed by animals of all ages, and that provides for improved litter containment, maintenance and odor control is disclosed. The waste containment system includes a base, including a litter container, that is accessed by an inclined member such as a ramp or steps. The inclined member may include at least one undulation or litter collecting elements, and at least the litter container is preferably covered.
