    Abstract: Gaff hook device having a tubular body of a plurality of telescoping sections. At the butt end of the body there is a hand grip and at the tip end there is a hook fastened to the body so as to be nonrotatable. A removable protective cover over the pointed end of the hook is tethered to a keeper sleeve which slides over the shaft of the hook.
