  • Patent number: 11403443
Abstract: An automated process for parametric modeling for automating the parametrization process to build a parametric model from CAD or un-parameterized CAE data. The automated process for parametric modeling generally includes automation of the parameterization process to build a parameterized computer-aided-engineering model from computer-aided-design data. The automated process may include a given set of rules and templates for geometric feature identification. The automated process is adapted to automatically generate all parameters necessary for efficient modifications to various elements, such as geometric features, of the parametric model.

  • Patent number: 11030361
Abstract: An automated modelling system for automatically and quickly creating computer-aided-engineering model of body in white structures such as members, braces, and joints based on limited inputs from a user. The automated modelling system generally includes a computer system which receives various inputs from the user, including but not limited to trajectories, axis along height, any base components, height, width, angle, size, radius, thickness, and the like. Using these inputs, the computer system will automatically create the desired elements, such as members, braces, or joints, based on user inputs. The computer system may also adjust existing elements, mesh elements, and parameterize elements based on user inputs received via an interface displayed on the computer system.

  • Patent number: 10062146
Abstract: A system and method for morphing a design element which precisely and efficiently morphs a design element within a data file to new target parameters by changing its general proportions, dimensions or shape. The present invention is generally a computer software program which loads an existing data file which includes one or more design elements, such as parts or an assembly of parts, and then automatically morphs the design element's dimensions, proportions and/or shapes to meet target parameters input by a user. The present invention will create several groups of points corresponding to each surface and associated bounding curves of the existing design. It will then morph each group into a new shape as per the input requirements by the user, fit the morphed group into an infinite surface, create boundary curves for each morphed group and then trim the infinite surface to create the new, morphed design element.
