Abstract: A method with and associated apparatus for vibration-filling electrodes in a paste bath. A holding tool connected to a vertical rotary shaft carries the electrode and, arranged above it, a vibration reflection body. The electrode and vibration reflection body are immersed in the paste bath, filling of the electrode is carried out, and the holding tool, electrode and reflection body are withdrawn from the paste bath. Above the paste bath, the excess paste is spun off the electrode by rotating the vertical rotary shaft, the reflection body also being cleaned of the paste.
Abstract: A fiber-structure electrode support of metallized synthetic fibers with reinforced border and with welded-on, thin current discharge lug is produced by a method in which, after the welding operation, the previously straight current discharge lug having a rectangular cross-section is impressed in a first zone in parallel and strongly into the fiber-structure electrode support. This region is adjoined by a second zone, where the current discharge lug rises at an inclination of 10.degree. to 30.degree. with respect to the first zone running parallel to the lower side of the fiber-structure electrode support, so that the border of the current discharge lug runs out in three directions to the right, downwards and to the left, starting from the surface of the current discharge lug which overlaps the fiber-structure electrode support, in a gradual trasition. At this border 20% to 30% of the current discharge lug is pressed into the fiber-structure electrode support and welded.
Abstract: A disassemblable gas-tight and pressure-resistant electrical lead-out for battery cells, consisting of a metallic fixed outer sleeve, a metallic bolt effecting the current conduction and of an insulating piece disposed between the sleeve and the bolt that consists of three sleeve-shaped insulating members disposed axially one behind the other and filling out the interstice between bolt and sleeve; the center insulating member consists of a practically gas-tight deformable material while the two outer members consist of a non-deformable material and at least one of the two outer members is adapted to be axially tightened with respect to the center member; the two outer members are provided on their side facing the center member with a ring-shaped raised portion which penetrates into the center member during axial tightening.
