Abstract: A supply device in a passenger cabin, such as an aircraft passenger cabin, includes a first panel or “function panel” having one or more comfort elements, operating elements, visual display elements, and communication elements; and a second panel or an “infill panel”, which includes flexible supply channels. The panels are guided and lined up in a rail system of a PSC channel that is arranged in the direction of flight above a passenger seat row. The function panels are individually positionable in the PSC channel relative to the passenger seat row, wherein the infill panel synchronously follows a linear actuating movement of the function panel, and in this process automatically compensates for the distance dimension S1 between function panels that are positioned so as to be spaced apart from each other.

Abstract: The invention relates to an aircraft with a connection element for connecting at least one first conduit element or the like positioned in a supply chamber of an aircraft with at least one second conduit element positioned in a cabin chamber of the aircraft, wherein supply chamber and cabin chamber are separated from each other by means of a separation element, substantially comprising a connection part comprising fastening elements for fastening the first and second conduit element. Known connection elements have the disadvantage that there occur sealing problems due to the fastening of the fastening element at the outside of the connection part at the end facing the cabin chamber. A further disadvantage is that the connection elements protrude into the cabin chamber and form stumble edges there.
Abstract: Nowadays in aircraft on-board inert gas generation systems (OBIGGS) are used to generate inert gases. Cooled bleed air of engines or auxiliary turbines is fed to said OBIGGS systems. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an air supply device for an OBIGGS system in an aircraft is proposed that comprises a bleed position (1,2). By way of the bleed position (1,2), air from an air conditioning unit (4,5) on board the aircraft can be bled and can be fed to the OBIGGS system. There is thus no need for an additional heat exchanger and an additional ram-air channel. Maintenance expenditure and air resistance are thus reduced.

Abstract: A user profile and/or the suggestions computed based thereon are obtained taking a special set of user features into account. The user features are defined to represent a typical general behaviour of an individual user in respect to the application where the user profile is used. In other words, for each application where a user profile is used a special set of user features are defined which are able to represent a typical general behaviour of an individual user. Based on these user features the weights in the list of word-weight pairs or weighted keywords which represents the user profile are computed or influenced during the creation of the user profile, and/or a mufti-user profile is split during the creation of an individual user profile from a mufti-user profile, and/or during specification of a suggestion a user history which is used to create the user profile, and/or the user profile, and/or the suggestion results are filtered.

Abstract: A system for improving the air quality in a pressure cabin of an aircraft comprises a recirculation air circuit by means of which a portion of the cabin air, referred to as recirculation air, is withdrawn from the pressure cabin, filtered and then recirculated into the pressure cabin. To increase the oxygen partial pressure of the air fed back into the pressure cabin, the quantity of recirculation air is passed wholly or partially through a nitrogen generator (52) which generates nitrogen and an oxygen-containing waste gas from the recirculation air supplied. The oxygen-containing waste gas of the nitrogen generator (52), together with any remaining quantity of recirculation air untreated by the nitrogen generator (52), is recirculated into the pressure cabin. The nitrogen generator (52), to which only recirculation air is supplied, utilises a pressure gradient existing in flight between the pressure cabin and the outside of the aircraft for nitrogen generation.
