Patent number: 10151482Abstract: A system for controlling a gas burning appliance is disclosed. The system includes a central control unit. A pilot valve and main valve controls the flow of fuel from a fuel source to the pilot and main valve, respectively, and are configured for accepting an electrical current from a thermopile and from a power source. A spark generator generates for igniting fuel received by the pilot thereby generating a pilot flame. A flame sensor is adapted for monitoring the presence of a pilot flame. A thermopile proximate to the pilot burner is configured for generating an output electrical current for powering the pilot and main valve control devices. A relay routes electrical current between the power source and thermopile to the pilot and main valve control devices. A flame height regulating device conductively coupled with the power source is configured for adjusting a height of a main flame.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 2015Date of Patent: December 11, 2018Assignee: DEXEN INDUSTRIES, INC.Inventors: Yu-Shan Teng, Peter Lee Cook

Patent number: 10134203Abstract: A system for providing monitoring of automobiles includes a database comprising a plurality of automobile records, and a plurality of technician records. The system further includes a computing device comprising a network interface device, a sensor coupled to the automobile and a processor for reading the sensor data from the sensor and transmitting the sensor data to a server. The system further includes a server for receiving the sensor data, finding a technician within the vicinity that can service the automobile and sending a message to the technician including the sensor data and location of the automobile, so that the technician may service the automobile. The system is further configured for identifying the velocity of the automobile; correlating the velocity of the automobile with the speed limit associated with the automobile's location; assigning a level of severity to the traffic; and sending a message to customers.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 2014Date of Patent: November 20, 2018Assignee: Dexen Industries, IncInventors: Yu-Shan Teng, Eric Simmon Cho, Alberto Hernandez-Albarran, Haroldo Rene Gourian

Publication number: 20140090723Abstract: A pressure-reducing regulator for CNG fuel includes a high pressure sensor that detects fuel pressure at an inlet, a filter element that filters fuel, an orifice that provides access to a pressure reduction chamber, and a movable pintle located within the orifice, such that a flow rate of fuel through the orifice varies according to a position of the pintle within the orifice. The pressure-reducing regulator further includes a motor that moves the pintle, a low pressure sensor that detects fuel pressure at an outlet and a control unit comprising a processor. The process is configured for reading data from the high pressure sensor, data from the low pressure sensor and vehicle data from an engine, calculating a desired position of the pintle based on the sensor data and the vehicle data, and transmitting a signal to the motor for moving the pintle to the desired position.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 1, 2012Publication date: April 3, 2014Applicant: Dexen Industries, Inc.Inventors: Roger Mark Toale, George Takahiro Suzuki
