Abstract: Embodiments are directed to a system that enables a user of a mobile communication device to view information that is presented on a billboard at a time after the user sees the physical billboard. The user inputs a billboard-information request into the mobile communication device, such as via an application executing on the mobile communication device. A current location of the mobile communication device at the time when the user input the billboard-information request is determined. Each billboard that is within a predetermined distance from the current location is identified as being a billboard-of-interest for the user. Information associated with each billboard-of-interest is provided to the user via the application executing on the mobile communication device or via a map on a website that is accessible to the user.
