  • Publication number: 20120001757
Abstract: A container electronic seal device and a method of operating the container electronic seal device are provided. The container electronic seal device is installed on a door locking rod and a lock handle provided in a container door. The apparatus includes a body unit, a locking arm unit, and an electronic parts unit. The body unit is disposed around part of the door locking rod and part of the lock handle, and is provided with a through hole, a guide opening, and an access port. The locking arm unit rotates and fastens the lock handle inserted into the guide opening of the body unit. The electronic parts unit selectively performs locking and unlocking depending on whether a security authentication file of the external memory is normal and monitors illegitimate opening. The container electronic seal device is selectively locked and unlocked using the external memory storing a security authentication file.

  • Patent number: 6293469
Abstract: A system for issuing printed documents exchangeable for value having interconnected printer and feeder modules. The printer module includes a printing station having a printhead supported for reciprocal movement in a direction transverse to the path of movement of the print medium. A sensor carried by the printhead is operative to sense and read preprinted indicia on the print medium. The feeder module includes a receptacle for storing the print medium as a continuous form. A slot is provided for enabling the insertion of print media external to the feeder module. A gate mechanism blocks the feed slot under predetermined operating conditions. A first drive mechanism is operative to feed the print medium from the receptacle towards the printing station. A severing mechanism is operative to sever the lead document from the supply. A severing sensor detects failure of the severing mechanism.

  • Patent number: 5780828
Abstract: A method and apparatus for reading and writing data to a medium which moves at an uncontrolled velocity relative to a read/write apparatus with which the data is read and written. The read/write apparatus comprises one write head and two read heads. The first read head is spaced apart from the second read head by an odd integer multiple of one half of a bit cell. The two read heads read preexisting data from the medium and generate a write clock which is used to synchronize a write operation using the write head. Delay logic ensures that the write head is over that portion of the medium on which new data is to be written. By measuring the amount of time between detection of a transition at the first read head and detection of that transition at the second read head, the velocity of the medium with respect to the read/write apparatus is determined and the amount of time that must elapse between the reading of old data and the writing of new data which overwrites the old data is determined.

  • Patent number: 4755068
Abstract: A dot matrix print head assembly comprising a plurality of circumferentially spaced armature members for operating associated wire members and a plurality of circumferentially spaced inner and outer pole devices separated by rectangular slots. A coil is mounted on a bobbin member associated with each inner pole. A portion of each bobbin member is mounted in one of the slots and has wire connecting pin terminals extending through a flange portion of a wire housing for connection to a printed circuit board.

  • Patent number: 4640633
Abstract: A matrix head wire print position shift apparatus which includes a plurality of longitudinally movable print wires which are mounted in an elongated wire housing and are disposed in guides which movably support the longitudinally movable print wires for longitudinal movement within the housing in response to wire drive armatures which cause longitudinal movement of the movable print wires between a non-print position and a print position. A wire drive end bearing plate mounted in the housing supports the front end portions of the longitudinally movable print wires and is transversely shiftable relative to the housing between a first print position and a second print position by a transversely shiftable support device mounted in and guidably supported by the housing. In the first print position the print wire devices are selectably operable to print characters defined by a first set of adjacent substantially tangential circularly shaped dots.
