Patents Assigned to DiamlerChrysler AG
  • Publication number: 20090234514
Abstract: A system for controlling a plurality of components in a means of transportation includes a control device with a first control program for a first component and additional control programs for additional components. Each control program carries out a chronologically limited process to control the assigned component. Processes are executed for the components which can be actuated in parallel on the same control device. To each of the processes is assigned a priority identifier that is compared with that of other processes to determine if the process is input into a waiting memory, and to determine the process with the highest priority to start controlling the corresponding component. The priority identifier is allocated dynamically depending on different conditions of the means of transportation.

  • Patent number: 6382041
Abstract: A gearshift device comprises an input unit for receiving input data which is connected via at least one data line to a first controller via which an actuator unit can be controlled for setting a gearbox, especially an automatic gearbox of a motor vehicle, and comprising at least one second controller which is independent of the first controller. The second controller is separate from the first controller and is connected to the input unit via at least one data line. In the case of a fault in the first controller, the actuator unit can be controlled by the second controller at least partially correspondingly to the first controller.

  • Patent number: 6184272
Abstract: A fiber-reinforced molded plastic part, a process for its manufacture and a use. The fiber-reinforced molded plastic part consists of a plastic matrix with natural fibers particularly arranged in a uniformly distributed manner in the plastic matrix. The plastic matrix has at least two mutually mixed polymers, of which one is a biopolymer and the other is a polymer which is at least largely resistant to biological stress.

  • Patent number: 6167981
Abstract: An operating element arrangement and method controls the longitudinal and transverse movements of a motor vehicle by using a manually actuatable regulating element which is stationary in the vehicle longitudinal direction and controls the longitudinal movement of the vehicle as a function of the actuating force exerted on the regulating element in the vehicle longitudinal direction. The regulating element also serves to control the vehicle transverse movement of the vehicle. For this purpose, the regulating element is arranged movably in the vehicle transverse direction of the vehicle. The transverse movement of the vehicle is controlled as a function of the transverse deflection of the regulating element or as a function of the actuating force exerted in the transverse direction of the vehicle.
