Abstract: A thin generally rectangular package for containing a farinaceous product such as dry mixes, cereals and the like including a portion that is removable from the carton with out opening or destroying the integrity of the package. The removable portion is contained on a slide that is sandwiched between a flat side of the carton and a panel fixed to the flat side. The slide is tethered to the flat side by a portion of the panel arranged to buckle outward from the plane of the flat side when the slide is pulled from between the flat side and the panel.
