Patents Assigned to Dianawerk GmbH & Co. KG
  • Patent number: 5565642
Abstract: A compressed gas weapon (10) is configured in the breech portion (18) of its barrel (12) to accommodate a projectile (24) in a position of readiness to fire and to reproducibly caliber the projectile (24) in the process of conveying it into the position of readiness to fire.

  • Patent number: 5339789
Abstract: A low-recoil gun (10), in particular a compressed-air gun or hand firearm, is proposed, comprising a stock assembly (25) and a barrel assembly (20) displaceable relative to the stock assembly (25) in the longitudinal direction (B) of the gun (10). The barrel assembly (20) can be moved contrary to the direction of fire (A), on the occasion of a discharge, out of a position of readiness to fire. The reverse travel of the barrel assembly (20) due to the discharge is restrained by an locking device (40) capable of being overcome by the recoil energy of the barrel assembly (20). In overcoming the locking device, the barrel assembly (20) performs work, which is deducted from the recoil energy, so that the recoil ultimately transmitted to the gunner is at least substantially reduced. In the gun according to the invention, the axial force required in longitudinal direction (B) of the barrel to overcome the locking device (40) is adjustable.

  • Patent number: 5309842
Abstract: The device for firing a diabolo form bullet from a firearm with a rifled barrel consists of a cartridge having a housing, a detonation cap connected to one end of the housing in a gas-tight manner and containing a gas-forming propellant, the housing having an expansion compartment for expansion of a gas produced on ignition of the gas-forming propellant and an outer surface tapered toward another end of the housing remote from the detonation cap, the tapered outer surface aligning the diabolo form bullet loaded coaxially in the rifled barrel by engaging a tapered recess provided in the diabolo form bullet, whereby the diabolo form bullet is forced into the rifled barrel so as to calibrate the diabolo form bullet; and a membrane covering the other end of the housing remote from the detonation cap. The housing is provided with at least one breakthrough region, which ruptures when a gas pressure on ignition exceeds a predetermined maximum value.
