Abstract: The present invention is a closure enforcing apparatus for diapering garments. The diapering garment has a main piece with a contoured edge. There is at least one primary fastener fully attached to the main piece near the contoured edge, and at least one complementary fastener fully attached to the main piece also near the contoured edge but at a remote location, such that the primary fastener can be mated onto the complementary fastener to close the diapering garment. In addition, there is at least one secondary fastener being the same type as the primary fastener, and having a free floating end laterally extending out from the contoured edge of the main piece and an opposite end attached to the main piece near the primary fastener. The size of the complementary fastener is substantially smaller than that of the primary fastener, and the thickness of the secondary fastener is substantially thinner than that of the contoured edge of the main piece.

Abstract: A diaper or diaper cover with novel self closure hook and loop fasteners. The diaper or diaper cover comprises a piece of fabric, at least one closing member, at least one covering member, and attaching means for attaching one end of the covering member onto the surface of the piece of fabric adjacent to the closing member. The closing and the covering member have respective complementary hook and loop mating surfaces. The covering member may be made of memory retaining resilient foam material having spring effect. The attaching means has a hinge effect on the covering member which combined with the spring effect of the foam material serves to cause mating surface of the covering member to contact and thereby cover the mating surface of the closing member.

Abstract: The present invention is a novel diaper cover which contains a multiplicity of different layers of specific material to provide the essential functions of being essentially nonpermeable to liquid but permeable to air. The diaper cover also provides means to hold and close the diaper without extra diaper closing means.
