Abstract: A Ti-Al type lightweight heat-resistant consists essentially of 32 to 36% w of Al, 0.1 to 2.0% w of Si, 0.1 to 5.0% w of Nb, 0.1 to 3.0% w of Cr, and optionally 0.005 to 0.200% w of B, the balance being substantially Ti. The alloy has improved oxidation resistance together with excellent ductility and strength at room temperature and high temperature.
