Abstract: An arrangement for securely closing a head module of a device for handling notes of value includes a frame and a front panel. The arrangement further includes at least one sensor unit for outputting a control signal, an authentication unit for determining authentication information, and a control unit. The head module has at least one electromechanical locking unit which in a locking state generates a locking of the front panel with the frame, and which unlocks the locking in an unlocking state. The control unit is configured to perform detection of the control signal and a verification of the authentication information, and to control the electromechanical locking unit such that changing the electromechanical locking unit from the locking state into the unlocking state only takes place upon detection of the control signal and upon successful verification of the authentication information.

Abstract: A device for handling value documents, comprises a value document dispensing unit with a dispensing compartment for dispensing value documents and with a first closure element which in a closed position delimits the dispensing compartment on one side. The first closure element is movable from the closed position into an open position to open the dispensing compartment, and from the open position into the closed position to close the dispensing compartment. The device comprises at least one second closure element, which is movable from an open position into a closed position and from the closed position into the open position. The second closure element is arranged in such a way that access to value documents provided in the dispensing compartment is only possible if both the first closure element and the second closure element are in their open positions.

Abstract: A method for configuring a POS-System, which uses multiple peripheral devices to complete a transaction, and uses a device server to which all peripheral devices are registered and logically connectable a POS-System, includes the steps of: before starting a transaction on the POS-System, requesting the peripheral devices from the device server to dedicate the devices to the POS-System; once the request is granted, starting the transaction and informing the device server about the start of the transaction for blocking access to the peripheral devices for another POS-System; and when a request for a peripheral device from another POS-System is received from the devices server, checking if a transaction is pending for the peripheral device from the POS system and if the transaction is pending the request is automatically declined and if no transaction is pending the device is reassigned to the other POS-System.

The receipt printer has a second receipt guiding unit. The first receipt guiding unit is engaged with the second receipt guiding unit when the lid is moved from the open state into the closed state.

Abstract: An apparatus for aligning at least one note of value along a transport path including at least one transport element, at least one first drive unit, first and second rotatably mounted deflecting elements, and a second drive unit. The transport element includes an endless drive belt. The first drive unit drives the transport element in a first direction of rotation which moves the note of value along the transport path in a transport direction. The transport element is deflected over the deflecting elements. The second drive unit displaces at least one of the first and second deflecting elements along its axis of rotation so that by displacing the one of the first and second deflecting elements the note of value contacting the at least one transport element is moved obliquely to the transport direction.
