Abstract: A dosing hopper for producing wood material panels has a feed device (2) that distributes the supplied material flow of glued wood particles continuously over the width of the hopper (1). The dosing hopper supplies elongated flat wood strands for producing oriented structural chip boards or panels (OSB, LSL). The feed device (2) includes a weighing device (23), with which the wood strands are distributable over the entire hopper width in a weight-dosed and oriented manner.

Abstract: A method of making panel-shaped products by hot-pressing a multi-layered formed body of chips of lignocellulose-containing annual plants impregnated with an isocyanate binder, is to avoid the problem of the adhesion of the isocyanate binder. For this purpose, the cover layer material is divided into a cover layer material fine fraction (5a) and a cover layer material coarse fraction (5b), whereby the cover layer material fine fraction (5a) is pre-mixed with adhesion promoters and/or wetting agents and/or acids and/or bases, and next glued with amino and/or phenolic plastics, and the cover layer material coarse fraction (5b) is glued with isocyanate or mixtures of isocyanate and amino and/or phenolic plastics. Next, a five-layered formed body is spread, whereby the outermost cover layers of the formed body consist of the cover layer material fine fraction glued with amino and/or phenolic plastics.

Abstract: A spreading station for spreading chip or fiber panels, includes a dosing belt scale (2) to provided between a dosing hopper (1) and a spreading head (3). The dosing belt scale (2) is connected to a regulating unit (4, 22) with which the conveying rate (kg/s) of the chip or fiber material on the dosing belt scale (2) is gravimetrically regulatable based on a prescribed fleece weight or a prescribed nominal conveying rate that is to be achieved.
