Abstract: A press is provided including a perforated draining drum; a juice collecting vat on a bottom of which the perforated drum is rested; a mobile member, located above the drum and activated with a vertical movement by powering device; a presser plate, which descends in the drum, to press the load; raising mechanism for raising the drum to extract the pressed product residue. The press also includes: a stem, carried by the mobile member, having a lower end to which the plate is fixed and having a variable length between a maximum and a minimum length which is reached following descent of the mobile member and an elastic member acting on the stem to increase its length, thereby displacing the residue of pressed product out of the drum. The residue is evacuated automatically by simple bodies which do not require operating liquids which might undesirably fall into the collecting vat.

Abstract: A destemming machine (10) comprising a frame (11) which houses a machine body (5) to which a hopper (12) is associated to enable inlet of material to be destemmed into an inlet mouth (13) of the machine body (50), at least a rotary perforated drum (14) contained internally of the machine body (50) internally of which a shaft rotates (15), which shaft is provided with blades (16) arranged in a helical fashion in order to perform a destemming action, the machine (10) comprising at least an outlet mouth (18) of the destemmed grapes and an outlet mouth (17) of the stems. The destemming machine (10) includes means for injecting and circulating an inertising gas (40) internally thereof.

Abstract: A press and a method for pressing food products, the press comprising a compartment (10) designed to contain products for pressing and delimited by at least a pressing wall (400, 401, 405) rotatingly and alternatingly mobile between an initial position and a final position such as to reduce a volume of the compartment (10) and press the contained products, and vice versa.

Abstract: A diaphragm press comprises a cylindrical vessel (7) rotating about its longitudinal axis and divided into two diametrically opposing parts by a flexible diaphragm (8). A series of perforated longitudinal channels (10) is fixed to a part of the inner surface of the vessel and connected at one end to an external manifold (12) for collecting the juice. At their other end, the channels (10) are connected to at least one further manifold (15) which is connected to a pumping unit (99) for feeding water under pressure by way of valves (160). The flexible diaphragm (8) is of such dimensions as to perfectly mate with the wall to which the channels (10) are connected and with the channels themselves so as to perfectly close the holes (100) of these channels (10) when the diaphragm is thrust from its rear by the pressurized fluid.

Abstract: A wine-making process which comprises feeding the pressed grape at an increasing, pulsating pressure of between 7 and 13 bars to a chamber containing soft permeable walls, and then subjecting the product to an increasing, pulsating pressure between 13 and 18 bars for a time of between 12 and 16 minutes. The plant comprises a normal grape pressing-stalk stripping machine and a membrane filter press.

Abstract: Continuous cycle demuster press consists of perforated cylinder divided into two portions, a cylindrical pressing piston inside a smaller section downstream portion, and annular piston being disposed inside a larger section upstream portion; the two pistons are coaxial, and the annular piston is disposed between the skirt of the smaller piston and the larger perforated cylinder.
