Abstract: A lithographic printing plate system comprising a plate that is suitable for inkjet printing and a method for preparing the plate system comprising a support and a first composition that comprises at least one anionic compound and is spread onto the support; the lithographic support can be made for example of paper, electrograined-anodized aluminum, or flexible plastic polymer rendered hydrophilic beforehand by means of a specific surface treatment; an image that is faithful to the original is then reproduced on the lithographic plate with the aid of an inkjet printing system and of a second composition that contains at least one cationic compound, such as a diazo compound.
