Patents Assigned to Dimension One Spas, Inc.
  • Patent number: 10660479
Abstract: An adjustable spa headrest has two side surfaces laterally disposed between front and back surfaces. A first projection extends outwardly from one of the side surfaces. A guide rail, positioned for receiving the projection, allows the spa headrest to be positioned in a number of positions. The guide rail includes a horizontal slot, a vertical slot including a number of spaced notches, each notch defined by a pair of second projections, and a spring arm depending in the vertical slot. When the first projection moves to a position between one of the second projections and the spring arm, the spring arm moves away from the second projection whereupon the spring arm applies a spring force to the first projection in a direction of second projection. In response to positioning the first projection in one of the notches, the spring arm secures the first projection in the one of the notches.

  • Patent number: 10322061
Abstract: Among other things, a spa includes a spa shell and a water feature disposed on the spa shell. The water feature includes a ridge disposed in an interior area of the spa shell and having a top disposed near a water line of the spa shell. The water feature also includes a water inlet disposed adjacent to the ridge opposite a main body of water area in the interior area of the spa shell, the water inlet being placed lower than the top of the ridge. In addition; the water feature includes a slope descending from the top of the ridge in the direction of the water inlet, the slope having a patterned top surface configured to interact with water flowing over the ridge, down the slope and toward the water inlet.

  • Patent number: 7884335
Abstract: The present invention provides a system for water treatment. The system includes a chamber, a UV light source, and a housing. The chamber has an inlet for receiving ozone mixed water and a transparent portion configured to allow UV light to pass. The UV light source has a protective shell that comprises a first portion and a second portion, the first and second portions configured to pass UV light at a first and second wavelength, respectively. The housing having an air inlet and an air outlet, the housing configured to secure the UV source and to receive a portion of the chamber, wherein the UV source and the chamber is affixed to the housing such that the transparent portion of the chamber is exposed to the first portion of the protective shell, thereby exposing the ozone mixed water to UV light with the first wavelength, and wherein the second wavelength convert oxygen molecules from the air inlet into ozone molecules.

  • Patent number: 5682625
Abstract: An adjustable headrest for a spa tub includes a housing defining a first recess for receiving a pillow for supporting the head of an occupant. A spa tub defines a second recess for slidingly receiving the housing. A positioning device, coupled to the housing and the recess of the spa tub, allows adjustment of the height of the housing relative to the spa tub. A front surface of the housing and the pillow lie flush with adjacent surfaces of the spa tub. The adjustable headrest further includes a water jet, mounted on the housing below the pillow, for directing water (but preferably not air to reduce splashing) under pressure towards the neck of the occupant. The direction of the water leaving the water jet can be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 5665228
Abstract: A mixing system for introducing ozone into water of a hydrotherapy spa includes filter for filtering water from said hydrotherapy spa. A pump draws water from said hydrotherapy spa through said filter. A first injector includes a first input for receiving filtered water from said filter, a second input for receiving ozone, and an output for providing a first mixture of ozone in solution with said filtered water and ozone not in solution with said filtered water. A recapturing unit, coupled to said output of said first injector, separates said ozone not in solution with said filtered water from said first mixture. A second injector, having a first input coupled to said recapturing unit, a second input coupled to said filter, and an output, provides a second mixture of said ozone not in solution with said filtered water and said filtered water at said output of said second injector means.
