    Abstract: A power line separator, comprising an input for connecting to a source of AC line voltage, an output for connecting to at least one user appliance intended for operation with a source of AC power having similar characteristics to the AC line voltage, and a front-end power factor correction unit coupled between the input and the output for producing from the AC line voltage a sinusoidal voltage that causes no distortion of the AC line voltage, while providing power to none-linear load, or loads with imaginary portion (reactive/inductive).
