    Abstract: A method and apparatus for mechanically mounting and electrically connecting a plurality of small form factor (SFF) storage devices such as 2.5? hard disk drives in place of a larger SFF hard disk drive such as a single SFF 3.5? hard disk drive. This provides increased disk drive capacity and/or higher performance. The storage devices may be connected in a redundant array of independent disk (RAID) architecture for implementation as a RAID stripe, mirror, or other RAID configuration.
