Patent number: 11857704Abstract: Various fragrance dispensers are disclosed. The fragrance dispenser can include a core unit that has a connection unit and a control unit. The fragrance dispenser can include a cartridge that is configured to engage with the core unit. The cartridge can include an impeller and a fragrant material. The fragrance dispenser can have a motor that drives the impeller, thereby dispersing the fragrance. The cartridge can be configured to disengage from the connection unit, such as when the cartridge reaches a depleted state.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 2022Date of Patent: January 2, 2024Assignee: Dispensing Dynamics International, Inc.Inventors: Joel P. Keily, Victor Landa

Patent number: 11844471Abstract: Various dispensing systems with drop-down features are disclosed. In certain embodiments, the dispensing system includes a roll support with a sensor and a piston. The sensor can move as the roll decreases in size (e.g., the outside diameter decreases) and can apply a force to the roll. The piston can move to become less engaged with the roll, such as becoming less received in a roll plug or the hollow core of the roll. When the roll has decreased to a threshold size, the piston substantially or fully disengages from the roll and/or the sensor applies a force to dislodge the roll from the roll support. This results in the roll automatically dropping off the roll support. The roll support is thus available to receive a fresh roll.Type: GrantFiled: January 4, 2022Date of Patent: December 19, 2023Assignee: Dispensing Dynamics International, Inc.Inventors: Joel P. Keily, Victor Landa

Patent number: 11678776Abstract: Various tissue dispensers are disclosed. The tissue dispenser can hold a main roll of tissue and a stub roll of tissue. In response to the tissue of the stub roll being exhausted, an advance system of the tissue dispenser can automatically transition the tissue dispenser to dispensing tissue material of the main roll.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2021Date of Patent: June 20, 2023Assignee: Dispensing Dynamics International, Inc.Inventor: Alexander Trampolski

Patent number: 11479431Abstract: Various dispensing systems with floating support rollers are disclosed. In certain embodiments, the dispensing system can include a housing, roll support arm, and a dispensing mechanism that can enable dispensing of tissue from a roll mounted on the roll supporting arm. The dispensing mechanism can include a main roller and a support roller. The support roller can move from a first position to a second position in response to a user pulling on a tail end of the tissue. The support roller can be biased towards the first position and can apply a compressive force to the main roller in the second position. The compressive force can urge the tissue towards the main roller and can provide improved tissue support.Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 2020Date of Patent: October 25, 2022Assignee: Dispensing Dynamics International, Inc.Inventor: Alexander Trampolski

Patent number: 11406231Abstract: Various consumable material dispensing apparatus including automatic roll transfer features are disclosed. In certain embodiments, the apparatus includes a housing, a roll support assembly, a motor, a roll sensor mechanism, and a controller. The housing can include a cabinet, an interior, and an opening. The roll support assembly can support a plurality of rolls. The motor can rotate the roll support assembly from a first position where a first roll is proximate the opening to a second position where a second roll is proximate the opening. The roll sensor mechanism can detect whether a diameter of the first roll is less than a threshold value when the roll support assembly is in the first position. In response, the controller can instruct the motor to rotate the roll support assembly from the first position to the second position.Type: GrantFiled: April 23, 2020Date of Patent: August 9, 2022Assignee: Dispensing Dynamics International, Inc.Inventors: Joel P. Keily, Alexander Trampolski

Patent number: 11395567Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing consumable material can include a housing, first and second support frames, a mandrel, and a lever. The mandrel can be movably mounted to the support frames between upper and lower positions and configured to hold upper and lower rolls. In some embodiments, when the mandrel is in the upper position, only the lower roll is accessible, and when the mandrel is in the lower position, both of the upper and lower rolls are accessible. The lever can be operatively connected to the first support frame and moveable between first and second positions. In some embodiments, when in the first position, a portion of the lever presents a physical interference that inhibits the mandrel from moving from the upper position to the lower position and, when moved to the second position, the physical interference is removed, thereby allowing the mandrel to move.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 2020Date of Patent: July 26, 2022Assignee: Dispensing Dynamics International, Inc.Inventors: Victor Landa, Joel P.
