The anti-sweep apparatus includes a first portion, a second portion disposed proximate to the first portion and a camming surface disposed on the first portion. The camming surface is engagable by a portion of a lead article on the wire to cam the anti-sweep apparatus between an enabling orientation and a blocking orientation. In the enabling orientation, the lead article is removable from the wire. In the blocking orientation, a second article is prevented from being removed from the wire. The first portion and the second portion are lockable with each other and are sized to at least partially encapsulate a portion of the wire therebetween.
