Abstract: A tool for use in a food processing machine. This tool has a cover tube (11) and a shaft (13) for driving in rotation a member for processing food products, which shaft is mounted in the cover tube (11), the cover tube (11) being provided at a first end with a mechanism (21, 25) for latching onto a machine body (3). The mechanism (21, 25) for latching the cover tube (11) onto the machine body (3) has at the first end, at least one flexible axial resilient arm (21) provided with a hook (25) which can cooperate with a complementary shoulder (33) of the machine body in such a manner as to form a snap-in connection. Also, a machine for processing food products and containing such a tool.

Abstract: A tool has: a tubular casing (11); and drive shaft (13); and a centering and guiding element (15) for the drive shaft (13). The tubular casing (11) and the drive shaft (13) are provided, at the same first end, with removable means (21, 25) for locking to the machine body (3) and releasable means (45) for coupling to a main shaft (41) of the machine, respectively. The centering and guiding element (15) has removable means (71, 73) for fixing to the tubular casing (11). The locating element (15) is mounted in the tubular casing (11) at the side of the first end, and the fixing means (71, 73) thereof are suitable for being locked in a correct fixing position by complementary locking means (47) provided on the machine (3) when the tubular casing (11) is fixed to the machine body (3).

Abstract: A machine tool for processing products, such as food products. The tool includes a tube-envelope (2) fixed to the tool with a cage (6) at one end of the tube-envelope. In one embodiment of the invention, the tube-envelope and the cage are formed as two separate parts. The cage (6) receives a product processing unit (7). The product processing unit (7) is, for example, a blade, which is driven by a shaft (9) releasably coupled to a drive shaft (12) of the machine. The shaft (9) is guided and centered in the tool. The shaft is sealed in the machine with, for example, a ring, and the ring can be screwed into the tube-envelope, or secured to the machine by bayonets. The ring is formed so that it is removable with a tool. This allows for the shaft (9) and processing unit (7) to be demounted from the tool for maintenance.
Abstract: A machine of the whisk-mixer type having: a stand (2) equipped with a cradle (6) for holding a bowl (7) opposite a tool-support head (4); a protective screen (8) that can be moved between an active safety position in which it cooperates with the bowl to prevent access to the tool and a retracted position; and a detector (13) for detecting that the screen is present in the active position so as to allow the machine to operate, wherein the screen (8) comprises rods (10) which provide for removable attachment of the screen to an articulated lever mechanism (9) for articulating the screen to the stand of the machine, and wherein the cradle (6) and the bowl (7) prevent the screen from being removed at least while it is in the active position.
Abstract: A machine for processing foodstuffs comprising a tank whose position on a support base is determined by a finger projecting from the tank and engaged in a socket in the support base. The support base is part of a housing in which is disposed a drive motor driving a shaft vertically projecting in the tank and supporting appropriate cutters. The tank is covered by a removable cover, and interlocks are provided for preventing the drive motor from being started unless the tank is correctly positioned, the removable cover is locked over the tank and appropriately positioned relative to the tank.
