A hinge couples the frame sections together for hinged movement between a closed position and an open position. A thermal pack is mounted within the container. A latch releasably holds the container sections in the closed position, and a handle is coupled to the frame sections to facilitate carrying of the insulated container.

An outer end wall is affixed to the peripheral wall. A material for adding or removing heat is provided in the passsage between the end walls.
