Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a machine tool including a bed, a table tiltably installed on the bed and configured such that a workpiece is seated on the table, a saddle movably installed on the bed, a column movably installed on the saddle, a spindle movably and tiltably installed on the column and configured to clamp or unclamp a tool and process a workpiece, and a stacking unit configured to perform stacking processing on the workpiece, in which the stacking unit is detachably mounted on the spindle while substituting for a tool to be clamped to the spindle and changing a mounting position of the stacking unit depending on a stacking processing position of the workpiece.
Abstract: Utilities supplied through a first utility path of a turning tool holder via a docking device is supplied to a second utility path of an adjacent rotating tool holder through a communication arrangement, there is no need to provide a complex hydraulic line, a pneumatic line and a coupler for receiving the utilities from the docking device at a rearward side of the rotating tool holder. A rearward size of the rotating tool holder may be minimized, so that even when the rotating tool holder is mounted on the turret, no interference occurs with the docking device in the rearward direction when the turret rotates. As a result, it is possible to use the rotating tool holder, to which utilities supply is necessary, even in the turret which is provide with the docking device.
Abstract: An apparatus for cooling a ram spindle and compensating for a load comprises a saddle installed to be transferred along a cross rail; a ram spindle installed to be transferred along the saddle; a transfer unit configured to transfer the ram spindle relative to the saddle by means of a box guideway; a cooling unit configured to cool the ram spindle; and a load compensation unit including gibs and configured to adjust a load applied from the ram spindle to the saddle, wherein the gibs are provided as a plurality of gibs provided inside the saddle, disposed between the saddle and the ram spindle, except for a reference surface with which the ram spindle is in close contact, and installed to correspond to the reference surface in a horizontal direction or a vertical direction.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a sag compensation apparatus of a machine tool and a machine tool including the same, in which in case of sag of a cross-rail occurring due to transfer of a saddle and a ram spindle unit, hydraulic pressure compensates for the sag in real time, thereby improving machining precision and maximizing responsiveness and reliability.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a long boring bar device of a machine tool and, more particularly, to a long boring bar device of a machine tool, wherein a boring bar is detachably fastened to a holder, and a head tool is detachably fastened to the boring bar to automatically exchange a head tool through an automatic tool changer, thereby reducing non-processing time and improving productivity of the machine tool.
Abstract: A flushing duct is installed on both sides of a table of the machine tool in a longitudinal direction of the table, a slope duct is inclinedly disposed below the flushing duct toward the coolant tank, each bottom surface of the flushing duct and the slope duct is formed with a V-shaped inclined surface and a streamlined bending portion to make flows of the coolant containing the microchips smooth, and a coolant supply valve is installed at a rear end of the flushing duct to facilitate flows of the coolant being discharged by supplying additional coolant. Further, a coolant tank is installed below the slope duct, a filter is installed in the coolant tank for filtering the microchips in the coolant. The coolant containing the microchips is transported through a return pump to a centrifugal separator device where the microchips contained in the coolant are centrifugally separated.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a machine tool cable protection device including a universal head having a rotary part and rotatably and tiltably installed in a ram body, a cable having one side connected to a rotary part of the universal head, and the other side connected to a supply source, a rotation unit disposed on the rotary part of the universal head and configured to wind or unwind the cable while rotating in conjunction with a rotation direction and a rotation angle of the rotary part of the universal head, and a movement unit disposed in the ram body so as to rectilinearly reciprocate to compensate for a change in length of the cable that is wound around or unwound from the rotation unit in accordance with a rotation direction and a rotation angle of the rotation unit.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and a method for detecting an abnormality of a tool of a machine tool, and more particularly, to an apparatus and a method for correcting backlash of a machine tool, which are capable of repeatedly measuring a load of a workpiece transferring unit or a workpiece machining unit, and automatically detecting an abnormality of a tool based on a normal range of load data that are proportional to a standard deviation of the load data measured based on any one of a mode value, a mean value, or a median value of the repeatedly measured load data.
