Patent number: 6612059Abstract: A billboard tab which includes a uniformly thin flat sheet of synthetic resin material having at least first and second sections integrally connected along a mutually adjacent edge by a tearable perforated joint. The first section has a display surface area thereon configured to be oriented at an angle to the second section. The second section has a hole therethrough adjacent a first edge thereof, the hole being oriented adjacent the perforated joint. The second section also has a connecting structure adjacent a second edge remote from the first edge adjacent the hole for facilitating connection of the second section to an object.Type: GrantFiled: March 2, 2001Date of Patent: September 2, 2003Assignee: Do-It CorporationInventors: William H. Patent number: 5416954Abstract: A flexible fastener has an apex region, a first cantilevered leg and a second cantilevered leg, joined to one another at an apex region. A distributed spring action area is positioned off of the apex region, and along at least one of the cantilevered legs, and is formed by providing the apex with a relatively thick head compared with the thickness of the leg members, so that flexure is limited to the legs, and kept away from the apex region. The flexible fastener is particularly suited for use in a catch assembly for jewelry, especially a bangle. Preferably the flexible fastener is substantially planar, and flexes within its plane of construction. Although the flexible fastener can be constructed from any material which acts as a spring, preferably the fastener is constructed from heat treatable carat gold alloy spring material.Type: GrantFiled: March 19, 1993Date of Patent: May 23, 1995Assignee: Nei/Do-All CorporationInventor: Donald J. Patent number: 5405022Abstract: A display strip and product support combination for mounting a product for display is provided in the form of a first strip of flexible material having a hanging section and a supporting section, the hanging section being positioned above the supporting section and comprising a means for hanging the first strip. The supporting section comprises a support member or first tongue defined by cut lines and a bend area in the supporting section. A second material has provided therein die cut lines and a second bend area defining a flap member or second tongue. Each of the support members and flap members are complimentary in shape and size such that the first strip is lockingly engageable to the second material. Alternatively, either the support member or the flap member may be replaced by a circular aperture or hole that is complimentary in shape and size to the remaining tongue for locking engagement of the two strips.Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 1993Date of Patent: April 11, 1995Assignee: Do-It CorporationInventor: Stewart R. Patent number: 5328137Abstract: A hanger for hanging a product having a flat surface for display is provided in the form of a flat, flexible sheet having a plurality of bonding sections provided adjacent to opposite edges of the sheet which are adapted to be attached to the product. The flat, flexible sheet has a top section, a bottom section, two side sections and an intermediate section bounded by and coplanar with the top, bottom and size sections. Inside the intermediate section is provided a centrally located fold-up portion which is defined by a cut-line and a fold-line. The fold-up portion is rotatable about the fold-line between an initial position at which the fold-up portion is provided below the fold-line and a second position at which an upper portion of the fold-up portion is provided above the fold-line.Type: GrantFiled: October 14, 1992Date of Patent: July 12, 1994Assignee: Do-It CorporationInventors: Thomas R. Patent number: 5290083Abstract: A one-piece container carrier formed from a flat, generally rectangular, sheet of resilient material and having at least two sets of two sockets aligned in a row and formed in the body member for receiving and gripping beneath an enlarged rim on a reduced diameter neck portion on at least a pair of containers. A pair of handles are integrally joined at opposite ends thereof at four spaced corner portions to the body member and initially lie within a plane of the body member and along opposite lateral sides of the sockets.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 1992Date of Patent: March 1, 1994Assignee: Do-It CorporationInventor: Stewart R. Patent number: 5203105Abstract: A horse head fishing lure features a weight in the shape of a horse head with an elongate head portion depending from a front of an elongate neck portion. A fish hook extends away from the rear of the neck portion. An eyelet for attaching a fish line extends from the top of the neck portion. A swivel is retained by and extends from the lowermost nose end of the head portion. A spinner blade would be attached to the swivel to be disposed adjacent the hook, yet free to spin beneath it when the lure is moved forward. The head portion is disposed at an acute included angle with respect to the neck portion. The acute angle of the head portion with respect to the neck portion locates a line of action between the eyelet for attaching a fish line and the swivel behind the center of gravity of the lure, such that any pull on the line has a tendency to locate the center of gravity below the line of action to stabilize the lure during its movement in an upright position.Type: GrantFiled: August 27, 1992Date of Patent: April 20, 1993Assignee: Do-It CorporationInventors: A.
