The method may include: submerging the semi-submersible transport vessel, adjusting the positions of the vessels until the vessel is over the deck of the semi-submersible transport vessel, securing the vessel on the deck of the semi-submersible transport vessel, raising both vessels, performing the dry-dock operation, lowering the vessel back into the water, and unsecuring vessel from the semi-submersible transport vessel.
