    Abstract: The invention relates to a water-cooled sliding combustion grate, comprising a combination of movable grate plates (6) and stationary grate plates (5). The length of the grate plates (5, 6) passing over the grate track width is more than 6 meters. The movable grate plates (6) are driven by one parallel drive each, which comprises two separate drive units, which can each move a respective end area of a movable grate plate (6) back and forth, wherein the two drive units can be synchronized. To separate the primary air transversely over the grate track over a plurality of areas, at least one partition can extend along the grate track under the grate. Each partition is moved along with the lower faces of the grate plates (5, 6) at the upper edge of said partitions so that said partitions are fully connected everywhere to the lower faces of the grate plates.

    Abstract: The method is characterized in that the fine-grained fractions are extracted by means of a gas flow at least at one point in the cinder shaft (4) using a fan blower (8) and a connected pipe (9). The extracted gas is conducted through separators (10, 11) and the fine-grained fractions are separated therein from the gas by means of chemical, mechanical or electrical treatment. The gas which has been freed of the fine-grained fractions is thereafter blown in the same volume back into the cinder shaft (4), such that the gas flow balance and the pressure conditions therein remain unchanged in the upper and lower regions. The device for this purpose consists of at least one pipe connection in the cinder shaft wall to an extraction pipe (9), the outgoing extraction pipe (9) being connected to a fan blower (8) and to at least one separating device, (10, 11) for extracting the fine-grained fractions from the gas.

    Abstract: The liquid-cooled grill plate has a carrier and drive design (15), having a separate cooling body (K) that can be placed into said carrier and drive design (15) and permeated by the liquid and having wear plates mounted onto said cooling body (K). The cooling body (K) is a welded design formed by square tube sections (20-26) and profiled sections (27), said design forming continuous elongated recesses (28-30) extending across the entire extension with the exception of the square tube sections (23-26) bridging said recesses (28-30). The carrier design is a ribbed configuration made of planar steel parts that are welded together and the drive unit (15) encloses a hydraulic cylinder-piston unit, which is accommodated in the inside of a square tube (18), said tube being guided displaceably in a tunnel-like breakthrough on said ribbed configuration. Between the wear plates and the cooling body (K) a highly heat-conductive soft silicone film (31) is clamped, which ensures good heat transfer.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic drive for a water-cooled sliding combustion grate. Each displaceable grate stage (6) is connected to at least one connection rod (30) supported at the other end thereof on a crank (31), wherein the associated crankshaft (32) is supported in a bushing (33) penetrating the side wall (2) of the grate construction. A crank (34) connected to the piston (35) of a hydraulic cylinder-piston unit (36, 35) is seated on the other side of the crankshaft (32), outside of the actual grate construction of the associated grate run, where said hydraulic cylinder-piston unit is disposed. The hydraulic components are thereby spaced further away from grate plates, and not exposed to abrasion. Said components, being disposed remotely from the grate plates (6), can also be replaced during operation of the grate.

    Abstract: A grill consisting of liquid-cooled grill plates and liquid-cooled lateral panels, the surfaces of which are provided with wear plates (1) connected to the liquid-cooled grill plates (2) and lateral planks in a heat-conducting manner. Wear plates (1) consist of a wear-resistant material which must however be cooled. Advantageously, a layer of a heat-conducting material in the form of a highly heat-conducting soft silicon film (3) is clamped between the liquid-cooled grill plates (2) and lateral panels and the wear plates (1), the layer providing a good heat transfer between the wear plates (1) and the permeable grill plates (2) and central panels. It is thus ensured that, during operation, the wear plates (1) always remain in a non-critical temperature range as they are cooled by the underlying grill plates (2) and lateral panels which are cooled to ca. 50° C.

    Abstract: A process wherein an incineration grate is tempered by a medium that flows therethrough. The grate has a number of hollow plates made of sheet metal. Each plate lies on the next underlying plate. A connection pipe is arranged on one side of each plate and a discharge pipe is arranged on the other side of each plate for the flowing medium. The individual plates are crossed by a plurality of tubular elements which open on the top side of the plates. Primary air is supplied to the materials to be incinerated through the tubular elements. Primary air supply is individually dosed to each tubular element.
