  • Patent number: 11829685
Abstract: A method for designing a part member of a custom-made furniture includes: producing a rectangular parallelepiped part member in a rectangular parallelepiped space; setting a XY coordinate system on six faces of the rectangular parallelepiped space using a corner of a rectangle of each face as an origin and two sides of a rectangle of each face as X axis and Y axis; setting one or more predetermined rules for determining positions of one or more machinings based on lengths p and q from a corner of the rectangle and designating a XY coordinate positions of the one or more machinings as a function of p and q; altering the dimensions of the rectangular parallelepiped space of the part member; calculating the positions of the machinings after the dimensions of the rectangular space are altered in accordance with the predetermined rules; and outputting the machining specification.

  • Patent number: 11372390
Abstract: A furniture product is designed as a rectangular parallelepiped space such that dimension of the space can be altered. Shape and size of a plurality of kinds of machining to be provided on a face of a part member face is registered in a machining master. Toolpath of controlling a tool of a machining machine is produced by CAM for each machining in advance. Machining selected from the machining master is registered on a face of a rectangular parallelepiped space of the part member. Upon receiving the data of rectangular parallelepiped space of the part member having altered dimension, the machining machine can apply the selected machining at a position after alteration of the dimension by controlling the tool in accordance with the toolpath.

  • Patent number: 10713395
Abstract: A method of designing a furniture product includes displaying a first and a second part members on a screen such that a first face of the first part member and a second face of the second part member are in parallel; setting XY coordinate in which a corner of a rectangle of each face of the first and second part members is set as an origin, and two sides extending orthogonally from the corner are set as X axis and Y axis to designate a first position on the first face by the XY coordinate; perpendicularly projecting the first face of the first part member onto the second face of the second part member to calculate a position on the second face that corresponds to the first position and designating the calculated position on the second face as a second position by the XY coordinate on the second face.
