Abstract: The present embodiments relate to an HVAC system which is externally mounted on a vertical surface of an RV, truck or bus. The desire is to eliminate, or at least substantially reduce, a potential leakage path wherein water may sit on an upper surface of a vehicle and due to seal degradation over long periods of time, may find a pathway in through the roof of the vehicle and to an interior thereof. By positioning the HVAC on a vertical surface, gravity works to move water downward and away from the HVAC system rather than allowing it to stagnate in an area around potential apertures through the outer skin or outer surface of the vehicle.
Abstract: A damped compressor used in mobile appliances. The appliances may comprise a compressor which is disposed within a housing and is in fluid communication with a refrigerant system. Within the housing there is an improved damping or stabilizer system which limits movement of electric or mechanical portions, or both, of the compressor within the housing. At startup and shutdown, when oscillations of the components within the housing are generally maximized, the components are limited from contacting the housing internal structure so as to inhibit damage to the compressor and reduce the noise associated with such contact. The components are also damped from movement associated with the mobile application of the compressor.

Abstract: The present embodiments refer to a controlling system configured to be installed in a recreational vehicle, cooling devices comprising or coupled to such controlling systems, a recreational vehicle comprising such controlling systems and methods for controlling cooling the cooling devices. The controlling system comprises a central processing unit, a read out unit and a controlling unit and is configured to be coupled to a plurality of electronic devices of the recreational vehicle. The read out unit of the controlling system is configured to read out data from the electronic devices and/or sensors of the recreational vehicle coupled to the controlling system and to forward the read out data to the central processing unit. The central processing unit is configured to receive and to process the read out data received from the read out unit and to forward processed data to the controlling unit.

Abstract: A mobile cooling box has a box main body and at least one lid for providing access to the inside of the mobile cooling box. At one side edge the lid is hinged to the box main body so that the lid is pivotable from a closed position to an open position. The mobile cooling box further has a latch handle module for manually locking and unlocking the lid. The latch handle module is integrated in the lid and located at another side edge of the lid. The latch handle module comprises an actuating element that is manually operable by the user, a locking element that is engageable with a corresponding counterpart located at the box main body in order to lock the lid from being opened and a casing, and the latch handle module provides a mechanism for locking and unlocking the lid.
Abstract: A mobile accommodation vehicle having a first free flow opening enabling free air flow between the inside and the outside of the vehicle and a second free flow opening also enabling free air flow between the inside and the outside of the vehicle. The first free flow opening is arranged higher than the second free flow opening in the vehicle. The first free flow opening or the second free flow opening is provided with heat recovery ventilation means which is arranged to enable free air flow through the heat recovery ventilation means, when the heat recovery ventilation means is not in operation.
Abstract: A mobile cooling box having a box main body and at least one lid for opening the box and providing access to the inside of the box. The at least one lid is pivotally attached to the box main body by at least two hinge modules. Each hinge module comprises a pin module having a hinge pin with a front end, a rear end, a longitudinal axis about which the lid is pivotable and predominantly a smooth outer surface of a cylindrical shape. Each hinge module further comprises a bearing module having a hinge bearing accommodating the hinge pin. The hinge pin laterally extends with its front end into the hinge bearing. Thus, during pivoting the lid with respect to the box main body an axis of the hinge bearing remains co-linear with the longitudinal axis of the hinge pin.
Abstract: A mobile cooling box has a box main body and at least one lid for opening the mobile cooling box and providing access to the inside of the mobile cooling box. The mobile cooling box further has at least one air vent 400 located on at least one side wall of the box main body, the at least one air vent comprises at least one opening, preferably in form of an essentially horizontal slot, allowing air flow through the respective side wall of the mobile cooling box. The at least one opening or slot comprises one or more shielding elements that are designed in such a way that the one or more shielding elements at least partly block the view into the inside of the mobile cooling box from the outside of the mobile cooling box.
Abstract: An air conditioning apparatus having at least a first heat exchanger for exchanging heat with air circulating there through; a cooling circuit for a cooling fluid, having a path that passes through the first heat exchanger; a compressor including an electric motor, for circulating the cooling fluid in the cooling circuit; an electrical power unit configured to absorb an input electrical current or power and to generate a variable infeed voltage, for powering the electric motor with an infeed electrical current, a controller connected to the electrical power unit, adapted to receive input data representative of a reference value for the input electrical current or power, and programmed to set the electrical power unit to generate the infeed voltage at a reference amplitude and/or frequency, so that the input electrical current or power is below the reference value.
