Abstract: The electrical wire connector for a multi-conductor, shielded heating cable (3) with a power cable (7) comprises a heating cable connecting section (1) and a power cable connecting section (5) joined permanently together. The heating cable (3) is attached in the heating cable connecting section (1) by means of a lever-like crimping connection (33) and its inner conductor is conductively connected through its surrounding insulation (16) with the electrical contacts (37a, 37b) of the heating cable connecting section (1). In a preferred embodiment, several heating cable and power cable connecting sections can be joined together. The assembly of the heating cable (3) in the heating cable connecting section (1) is simple and safe in operation. This assembly can be performed even by unskilled personnel lacking knowledge in the field of electric power engineering, in particular by heating and sanitary installers, without loss of safety and functional ability.
