Abstract: A data processor at a central location includes, a central processing unit, a receiving component to receive prescriptions from dentists, a validation component to insure prescriptions are complete, accurate and comply with any legal or industry standards, an importer to write the prescriptions to a central database, a transmitting component to send the prescriptions to participating dental laboratories, a second receiving component to receive updates related to the production and delivery of the prescribed prostheses, a transmitting component to notify affected parties of changes to the production or delivery status of the prescribed prosthesis.
