The filter cartridge can include a seal arrangement circumscribing the media pack outer perimeter, wherein a portion of the seal arrangement extends beyond a first plane defined by the media pack outlet flow end and a portion of the seal arrangement is disposed between the first plane and a second plane defined by the media pack inlet flow end, wherein the seal arrangement is aligned along a third plane disposed at an oblique angle to the first and second planes.

The filter element has a first axial length when the positionable coupling element is in an extended position and has a second axial length when the positionable coupling element is in a collapsed position, wherein the first axial length is greater than the second axial length. In one aspect, the first and second parts can be secured together place the air filter cartridge in a latched position by moving the air filter cartridge in a first direction. In one aspect, the first and second parts can be disconnected from each other to place the air filter cartridge in an unlatched position by moving the air filter cartridge in the first direction. The air cleaner assembly can include a second connection arrangement securing the air filter cartridge to the housing cover such that the housing body and housing cover are secured together.

    Abstract: A filtration media with improved filtration, strength, tear resistance and air permeability in the form of a relatively thin and lightweight wet-laid fibrous web that has a wet Mullen ratio of 60% to 80% to ensure that the media is flexible enough to be formed into a fluted structure, and strong enough to retain the fluted structure when wound into a roll and to permit further processing without the media becoming too brittle. The filtration media comprises a blend of cellulose and synthetic fibers having a weight percent of 81 wt % to 87 wt % of a weight of the media and a resin binder having a weight of 13 wt % to 19 wt % (preferably about 16 wt %) of the weight of the media.
