Abstract: An automatic feed paper shredder with an improved paper pressing mechanism, including a paper shredding device, openable flip covers and elastic supports, wherein one side of the flip cover is hinged to the paper shredding device; the flip cover are disposed above the paper shredding device; a paper placing platform and a paper inlet opening are disposed on the top of the paper shredding device; automatic paper winders are disposed at both sides of the paper inlet opening; a pressboard is disposed at the bottom of each flip cover; and one side of each elastic support is connected with the flip cover and the other side of each elastic support is connected with the flip cover and the other side of each elastic support is connected with the pressboard.

Abstract: A power shredder with individually removable components structure comprising two main removable components: the power component and the shredding mechanism component. The power and the shredding mechanism components can be individually attached and removed from the waste collector of the power shredder. The power component further comprises two main parts: a detachable motor and a detachable gear assembly. When any of the power component, shredding mechanism component, motor or gear assembly should become defective, the use can simply remove and replace the defective part with a new part.

As the contact area between the transmission belt gear assembly (assemblies) and the paper is large, the friction force between the transmission belt gear assembly (assemblies) and the paper is large as well.
