Abstract: An adjustable animal feeder includes a support base, at least two arms, a vertically adjustable support plate having an opening for detachably receiving a dish and locking elements for holding the support plate in a selected position. Because the support plate can be positioned and locked at a selected height, the animal which is to feed or drink from the dish held in the opening of the support plate can be accommodated. Posture of and digestion for the animal can therefore be improved. The feeder also includes tracks beneath the support plate for receiving only the dish, only a closure element or both the dish and the closure element for storage thereon. The support base of the feeder can act as a storage compartment or can be designed to fold to a position requiring minimal space. Further, the arms can be integral with or detachable from the base and can have grooves or pegs thereon for accommodating the support plate.
