    Abstract: The invention relates to a device for transporting an organ having a container for organs, a gas-driven pump connected to the container and conduits for circulating a liquid and/or gas through the container, and a controller for controlling the pump. There are pressure sensor means in the liquid output conduit of the pump that are connected to the controller and control the drive for the pump. The invention also relates to a method for transporting an organ in a container.
