Abstract: A novel artificial stone which contains an inorganic aggregate and a resin and has an uneven surface wherein the inorganic aggregate is exposed, wherein the average depth of concave grooves of the surface is in the range of 0.02 mm to 1.0 mm and the volume percentage of the inorganic aggregate is 25% to 75%. The artificial stone has an elaborate structure, exhibits transparent and deep sense, has excellent massive feeling and color like a marble, has a high surface hardness, exhibits good formability, and exhibits excellent non-slop performance even when it is contacted by bare feet or by hard soles of shoes.

Abstract: A high-hardness, soft composite material which consists of an organic/inorganic composite material having at least 60 wt. % of inorganic components including an aggregate component, and which has a surface Vickers hardness (JIS Z 2244) of at least 400 and a radius of curvature, at which the material is bendable without being broken, of at least R25 mm based on a platy body 3 to 15 mm thick, the organic/inorganic composite material being high in surface hardness, soft and bendably worked.

Abstract: A magnetically attachable sealed pressed flower in which a sheet 3 having a pressed dry flower 2 is sealed and fixed by melting and fixing therein is disposed integrally on one surface of a sheet-shaped magnet substrate 1, which can improve the degree of freedom for the selection and alteration of the position or replacement of the kinds of pressed flowers and also enables re-utilization.

Abstract: The following artificial stone having a deep color tone and a glaze and having a luminousness is provided at low costs. An artificial mixture in which a fine powder component of an inorganic material having a size of from 5 to 70 mesh is used, the sum of this fine powder component and a finely divided component of an inorganic material of 100 mesh-under is 89% by weight or more of the product and a resin component is 11% or less is struck and integrated into a cured slab which has been cured.

Abstract: Provided is an artificial stone molded product in which protrusions or embedded grooves for a figure or a pattern are provided integrally on or in a flat surface of a substrate, and a main composition comprises an aggregate of an inorganic material and a resin, characterized in that at least a part of the above-mentioned protrusions or embedded grooves are luminous or fluorescent, light-emitting portions which contain a luminous or fluorescent material having a luminescence or a luminousness accompanied by ultraviolet absorption and an aggregate of a transparent inorganic material, or an aggregate of a transparent inorganic material having a surface baked with the above-mentioned luminous or fluorescent material as at least a part of the aggregate of the inorganic material.

Abstract: A non-slip artificial stone excellent in walking safety and disaster prevention is provided, which is characterized in that an inorganic particle component comprises 82 to 93 weight percent and a resin component comprises 7 to 18 weight percent of the total weight of the product and the proportion of a resin-exposed surface area to a unit surface area of 50 mm in length×50 mm in width is from 15 percent or more to 40 percent or less.

Abstract: An object containing pressed flowers sealed therein which is composed of a base layer, an intermediate layer of molten resin in which is sealed a pressed flower, and a surface layer of transparent film, with these three layers integrally laminated on top of the other, characterized in that the intermediate layer is formed by pressing with heating under reduced pressure from a meltable porous plastic film such that the molten plastic adheres closely to the pressed flower to seal it and also fixes the pressed flower to both the base layer and the surface layer of transparent film. It retains the natural color of the pressed flower for a long period of time without deterioration by air and moisture.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing artificial stone having a curved surface or a deformed shape including the steps of heating a plate-like artificial stone forming body, whose surface has previously been polished or roughened, to a temperature ranging from 120° C. to 200° C. under a pressurized atmosphere equal to or higher than 3 atms so as to soften and deform it to a predetermined curved surface or deformed shape and cooling it to a temperature not higher than 90° C.

Abstract: The invention provides an artificial stone of the following composition, having a deep color tone and gloss, and a highly dense and uniform structure.An inorganic fine particle component having a size of 10 to 70 mesh is used, and the sum of the inorganic fine particle component and an inorganic microparticle component having a size of 100 mesh under accounts for at least 85 wt. % of the entire product, and a resin component accounts for under 15 wt. %. All or part of the fine particle component is surface-coating-hardened in advance by an inorganic or organic substance. The artificial stone of the invention has a uniform composition of the individual components, and fine particles are exposed on the surface by polishing.

Abstract: The present invention provides high density artificial stone with physical properties similar to those of natural stone and having excellent and beautiful external appearance as well as a method to produce same.More particularly, the present invention provides high density artificial stone consisting of 10 to 70 mesh inorganic fine particles from natural stone and the like which are mixed with 100 mesh or above inorganic very fine particles to the weight ratio ranging from 0.5:1 to 5:1, jointly accounting for at least 85% of the weight of the final product, containing 15% or less resins, wherein each raw material component is uniformly distributed and the fine particles from natural stone and the like are exposed on the surface of the product.
