    Abstract: A bed covering apparatus comprising a foot board (1) and L-shaped support arms attached to an outside surface of the foot board and above a mattress (8). A quilt (2) is supported by the long arm portion of the L shaped arms (11) and tucked under the mattress by means of side pieces. An air recirculating unit is provided on the foot board (1) with a heater (24) for heating the air space (21) between the mattress and the quilt.
