A control chamber accommodates a flexible sealing diaphragm deformable between a sealing position in which it sealingly bears over the sealing bridge and seals a fluid flow path extending between the inlet and outlet chambers, and an open position in which fluid flow along the flow path is enabled. An inlet path along the fluid flow path is longer than an outlet path therealong.
