Patents Assigned to Dorst-Maschinen und Anlagenbau Otto Dorst und Dipl.-Ing. Walter Schlegel _GmbH & Co.
  • Patent number: 5874114
Abstract: A press for producing compacts from powdery material. The press has a die with a cavity that receives particles therein. A lower punch moves towards an upper punch to press the particles within the cavity. A cam disk moves the lower punch by way of a movable base-plate. Motion is transmitted through a sliding block to the base-plate and a cylinder having a piston causes movement of the die during at least a portion of the movement of the lower punch over its path of travel to the upper punch.

  • Patent number: 5635219
Abstract: A slide opening system for a tool system for compacting powdery materials having an upper ram, a lower ram and an insertable tool frame in which punch holders are moved relative to the base-plate from their filling position downward to the pressing position and from the pressing position upward to the ejection position which corresponds to the filling position (ejection method), and a further punch holder is moved from the filling position downward to the pressing position and from the pressing position downward to the withdrawal position (withdrawal method), with plungers acting on slides for releasing the withdrawal plate for the withdrawal motion, whereby the plungers of the slide opening system each act on a preferably stepped slide via a pivoted lever in the form of a cam disk with leverage that changes during the opening process and at least one roll located on the lever.

  • Patent number: 5080573
Abstract: In an isostatic press for making compacts of powdered cermaic material, a tool part has, on a sliding head, twice as many mold needles as mold parts which, together with the mold needles, limit molds for making the compacts. The distance between the mold needles on the sliding head is half the distance between the mold parts. The sliding head is moved back and forth in phases in the longitudinal direction of the row of mold pots by the distance between the mold needles, so that, at the same time as the produced compacts are lifted out and deposited on conveyor belts, the other mold needles are moved into the mold pots.

  • Patent number: 4913640
Abstract: In a press for making sanitary articles, in particular toilet bowls, by pressure casting, mounting plates bearing the mold parts for forming the mold are suspended on slides along portals which extend radially outward from the center of the press. In the closed position of the press, suspension frames bearing the receiving plates are mechanically locked.

  • Patent number: 4482307
Abstract: A press designed for producing true-to-size workpieces from powder material has upper and lower platens, a base plate, a die support plate and a lower stamp, which is moved hydraulically in translation in relation to the base plate and the die plate. The die plate and the base plate are parts of a frame structure using pull-rods and having the die plate and a lower joining plate as parts thereof. The frame structure is joined with the top platen of the press by way of a connection piece, which may be moved in translation in relation to the frame structure in the direction of pressing, whereas the lower platen of the press is joined up with the lower joining plate. To get an even density in the pressed workpieces and to make possible the use of modern electronic control systems the lower stamp of the press is made up of at least two lower stamp parts which are supported on machine parts.
