Abstract: A dosing dispenser includes a housing, a traveler, and a plunger. The dosing dispenser also includes a driver. The housing defines a chamber, and the traveler and plunger are each positionable within the chamber. The traveler is configured to selectively position the plunger along an axis in at least one direction within the chamber.

Abstract: Described are metering dispensers having a body configured to hold a flowable composition in a chamber, a drive screw coupled to the body, and a plunger threadingly coupled to the drive screw. The plunger includes at least two annular lips that form a fluid seal with the chamber as the plunger travels along the drive screw through the chamber. A base is rotationally coupled to the body with a cam that contacts at least one tab extending externally from the body so that the tab enters at least one low point on the cam by traveling over a trailing edge of the low point, and the trailing edge then prevents the tab from exiting the low point in the direction of the trailing edge.

Abstract: Described are metering dispensers (10) having a body (100) configured to hold a flowable composition in a chamber, a drive screw (300) coupled to the body, and a plunger (400) threadingly coupled to the drive screw. The plunger includes at least two annular lips (416) that form a fluid seal with the chamber as the plunger travels along the drive screw through the chamber. A base (200) is rotationally coupled to the body with a cam (208) that contacts at least one tab (114) extending externally from the body so that the tab enters at least one low point (222) on the cam by traveling over a trailing edge (226) of the low point, and the trailing edge then prevents the tab from exiting the low point in the direction of the trailing edge.

Abstract: Described are applicators having a plunger with a plunger body, and a tube having a receptacle end for insertion of the plunger, and a connector end formed of flexible plastic material having a bull-nose shape. As an example, the plunger body can include a viewing window. As another example, the connector end has an internal surface that is free of threaded connectors. The connector end can also have a snap-fit coupling design to couple to a snap-fit nozzle. The snap-fit nozzle can be connected to an adaptor cap or an administering tool of a metering dispenser.

Abstract: A dosing dispenser includes a housing, a traveler, and a plunger. The housing defines a chamber, and the traveler and plunger are each positionable within the chamber. The traveler is independently positionable along an axis relative to the plunger in at least one direction within the chamber. A method of dispensing a flowable composition with a dosing dispenser includes positioning the plunger within the chamber, positioning the traveler within the chamber such that the traveler is spaced apart from the plunger, loading the flowable composition within the chamber, and dispensing the flowable composition.
