Abstract: The invention relates to an extrusion additive manufacturing method for forming a drug delivery device. The method includes providing a first drug delivery material containing a first major excipient with a first melting range and a first melting peak. The method further includes extruding the first delivery material at an extrusion temperature that is within the melting range of the first major excipient.
