Abstract: Crosslinkable interpolymer blends comprising ethylene monomer residues, residues of comonomers having carboxylic acid and/or carboxylic acid anhydride functionality, and residues of comonomers having epoxide functionality, a peroxide initiator, and optionally a crosslinking catalyst, which, in embodiments, cure to a gel content of greater than (>) 50 wt % within less than 1.5 minutes at 200˜C, and require little or no degassing after crosslinking.

Abstract: A process for continuously removing water in situ from an oxidative esterification reaction is provided. Abstract: A process for converting a feed stream to C2 to C5 hydrocarbons includes introducing a feed stream of hydrogen and at least one carbon-containing component selected from CO, CO2, and mixtures thereof into a reaction zone at an initial reactor pressure and an initial reactor temperature. The feed stream is contacted to a hybrid catalyst positioned in the reaction zone, and the hybrid catalyst includes a methanol synthesis component and a solid microporous acid material. The pressure within the reaction zone is increased during the contacting of the feed stream to the hybrid catalyst from the initial reactor pressure to a final reactor pressure. A temperature within the reaction zone at any time during the contacting of the feed stream to the hybrid catalyst is within ±20° C. of the initial reactor temperature.

Abstract: An aqueous polyurethane dispersion compositions are disclosed. The compositions include a polyurethane prepolymer dispersed in an aqueous medium, the polyurethane prepolymer comprising an isocyanate and a crystalline polyester polyol having a hydroxyl content of 20 to 150 mg KOH/g and a melt temperature of less than or equal to 90° C. Methods of forming a laminate are also disclosed. The methods include providing an aqueous polyurethane dispersion, applying the polyurethane dispersion to a surface of the first substrate, bringing the side of the first substrate into contract with a surface of the second substrate, and curing the aqueous dispersion, thereby laminating the first substrate to the second substrate. Laminates formed by the methods and including the compositions are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for processing a chemical stream includes contacting a feed stream with a catalyst in an upstream reactor section of a reactor having the upstream reactor section and a downstream reactor section, passing an intermediate product stream to the downstream reactor section, and introducing a riser quench fluid into the downstream reactor section, upstream reactor section, or transition section and into contact with the intermediate product stream and the catalyst to slow or stop the reaction. The method includes separating at least a portion of the catalyst from the product stream, passing the product stream to a product processing section, cooling the product stream, and separating a portion of the riser quench fluid from the product stream. The riser quench fluid separated from the product stream may be recycled back to the downstream reactor section, upstream reactor section, or transition section as the riser quench fluid.
