Abstract: Method of controlling the vehicle handling of vehicles having a controllable longitudinal clutch and/or a controllable main-axle lateral lock in the case of all-wheel systems and a controllable lateral lock in the case of vehicles with a single-axle operation wherein at least the driving speed (v), the lateral acceleration (aq) and the actual steering angle (LW(act)) are detected. From the filed characteristic diagram, which extends along the driving speed (v) and the lateral acceleration (aq), the pertaining steering angle (LW(KF)) is determined for the respective driving speed (v) and the lateral acceleration (aq) and is then compared with the actual steering angle (LW(act)). If the two steering angles deviate from one another by at least a definable amount, the lateral acceleration is adapted by changing the locking torque for a stable vehicle handling.

Abstract: A wheel suspension for a motor vehicle, particularly a rear wheel suspension, has a spring which is arranged separately from a shock absorber. The spring and the shock absorber are supported at their lower ends, by way of a common console arranged approximately transversely to the vehicle, on a longitudinal rear axle tube. An upper end of the shock absorber is swivellably held on a carrying device fastened to a vehicle body member. An upper end of the spring is disposed in a supporting device integrated in the vehicle body member.
Abstract: An arrangement for operating a parking brake for a motor vehicle has braking devices which are arranged on the wheel side and can be operated by way of tension members. The tension members are guided around by way of deflecting elements and, via a transmission element, are connected with a hand brake lever. The deflecting elements consist of two segments which are disposed opposed to one another and on a common swivel axis and are held in an inoperative position by at least one return element. Each segment has a deflecting contour with guide grooves for the tension cables forming the tension members.
