Patents Assigned to Dr. Ing. h.c.F. Porche Aktiengesellschaft
  • Patent number: 9050976
Abstract: A method for operating a hybrid vehicle having an internal combustion engine and an electric machine, wherein the hybrid vehicle can be driven purely electrically if the internal combustion engine fails because, for example, a fuel tank for supplying the internal combustion engine with fuel is empty. In the event of failure of the internal combustion engine, continued purely electric travel of the hybrid vehicle is made possible only on condition that a restart of the hybrid vehicle is initiated.

  • Publication number: 20140174840
Abstract: A subframe (1) in a body of a motor vehicle is provided for connecting longitudinal and cross members for wheels (12) of an axle of the motor vehicle. A region (2) of the subframe (1) is designed as a supporting ring (3) for holding an electric energy accumulator (4). The subframe achieves a structurally simple and stable holding of an electric energy accumulator in the motor vehicle.

  • Patent number: 8596392
Abstract: A method for operation of a hybrid vehicle is provided. The hybrid vehicle has a first drive apparatus for driving the wheels on a first axle by an internal combustion engine, a second drive apparatus having two electrical machines for driving the wheels on a second axle, and at least one electrical energy store that can be discharged when an electrical machine is being operated as a motor and can be charged when an electrical machine is being operated as a generator. The method includes operating at least one driver-operated control for causing at least one of the electrical machines to output additional electrical drive torque to the axle that is not driven by the internal combustion engine.

  • Publication number: 20120031361
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an internal combustion engine having a plurality of cylinders, a crankcase, a cylinder head and a cylinder-head cover, the cylinder head being formed from a cylinder-head lower part and a camshaft housing which is positioned between the cylinder-head cover and the cylinder-head lower part, and at least one camshaft and one sliding cam which can be displaced axially on the camshaft and has a slotted-guide section being provided for actuating gas exchange valves of the internal combustion engine, an actuator with an actuable pin being provided for bringing about an axial displacement of the sliding cam. The camshaft and the sliding cam are positioned in the camshaft housing. The camshaft, which is mounted rotatably for valve actuation, is arranged with the axially displaceable sliding cam in the camshaft housing in such a way that they can be attached to the cylinder-head lower part as one preassembled unit.

  • Patent number: 7841646
Abstract: A motor vehicle, especially a passenger car, is provided with an air-conducting device arranged in its rear area. The air conducting device can be moved by way of an adjusting mechanism from a rest position flush with the adjacent body of the rear area into a driven-out operating position. The adjusting mechanism includes two openers arranged in side areas of the air-conducting device for moving the air-conducting device. In order to be able to adjust an air-conducting element continuously from a lowered rest position and a raised operating position, each opener is connected via a swivel-joint on a bearing part that is fastened to the vehicle and aligned vertically.
